WELCOME TO ST. BLARTS.
There are infinite examples or terribly, terribly painted minis - painted with some combination of poor technique, half a potato, a dead cat, or alcohol. Usually all three.
These minis languish in dark cupboards or on dusty shelves for an eternity until the eventual Great Clear Out where they are unceremoniously dumped on eBay like the goldfish that you forgot you bought two years ago. Such models are a perfect resource for Foxx to strip back and repaint to show how much better it cold have looked, all those years ago.
Join him as he rescues these scraggly, abandoned strays and nurses them back to health as best he can - all without snark. He'll try to give them the paint job they deserve whilst hopefully teaching the original artist (and the viewer) where they went wrong and how they could have done it better. And then, of course, they return to eBay to find a new forever home.
This is a new series and will be ongoing so please make sure to check back here regularly for new episodes and projects. To keep up to date with all my other build series and projects, make sure to check out the YouTube page as well!
Bookmark my eBay page and the FOR SALE page to make sure you don't miss any rescue builds once they go up for sale.
Please note that Foxx will not accept your terribly painted minis - he prefers to not know or have any connection to the original artist (and will also sell the model on once it is finished).
